Oh, how times have changed since the original launch of thame.net in 1998.

The writer was right – more of us would be using the World Wide Web in future! 1998 seems like yesterday but also so much has changed!

What hasn’t changed is the core aim of Thame.net and that is to share news, promote Thame and support what’s happening in the community.

If anyone wants to send me content for the site then we’ve moved on a bit from when this article was written. Please don’t send your content to me on a disc! Email or a Facebook message will do just fine!

Thank you to Iain Fairweather (original founder) for getting in touch to share the article snip and to him and Sonja Francis for helping to get us to where we are today.
