2024 is the 150th anniversary of Thame Town cricket club

The new cricket season is less than 2 months away and this will be a momentous year for the town’s club – it’s the 150th anniversary of its founding in 1874!

Apart from men’s 1st and 2nd XI matches on alternate Saturdays, the women on Sundays and a wide range of junior matches across the week, Church Meadow will be hosting some very special fixtures, including at least two Oxfordshire County matches, with one highlight being the match against Middlesex, a first-class county, on Sunday 21st July.
Pre-season nets are already under way, so anyone interested in playing some cricket this season, at whatever level, can just email one of these people:-
– and for juniors, Sheena on juniors@thamecricket.org.uk

You can keep up to date and find more information on the club’s Website and Social media.
