Thame Green Living Plan

There are lots of great projects that together make up the ten-year plan for a greener Thame – The Thame Green Living Plan.

One of the projects currently looking for volunteers is the Air Quality Monitoring Project.

“Clean air lies at the heart of a green town.”

Air quality is key to creating a greener town – quite a challenge within a growing town that has an increasing number of cars and other vehicles. There’s a move from many to using electric cars but we still need to act on air quality. Monitoring the air quality is one way we can benchmark and track progress as well as help to educate and share information with residents of Thame.

We need you – Join the Air Quality Monitoring team

The team are currently looking for people who are passionate about our town and creating cleaner air for all. Groups or individuals are welcome to join and support the team with activities such as planning, conducting surveys, creating documents and guides, coordinating and attending events – there’s something for everyone to get involved with.

The team will be supported by the Thame Green Living team and other community groups and contacts who can help with an expert knowledge needed so don’t worry if you don’t think you have the right or relevant experience.

You can read more about this project here and register your interest using the Thame Green Living Plan contact form here
