Overall the club came 11th out of 15 overall, with the most number of points ever having been won by the club. Club spokesperson, Helen Williams, said: “All of the 29 swimmers were on fire with fantastic personal bests being achieved across the championships, inspired by Head Coach Ian Blyth throughout each of the galas.”

Finalists awards were achieved by 11 of Thame Swimming Club’s entrants: Marcus Birmingham, Harry Block, Hallam Cozier, Laura Creswell, Jo Hewett, Elizabeth Humphreys, Rory Pridmore, Elliot Riley-Brown, Sam White, Ben Williams and Josh Williams.

A couple of notable call-outs:

Jo Hewett: for winning 4 x 1st place trophies and 1 x 2nd place trophy in the Girls Multi-Disability events and great PBs too.

Sam White: the youngest of the boys representing the Club in individual events, and getting 2 x Finalist plaques.
Elizabeth Humphreys, Marcus Birmingham, Harry Block and Elliot Riley-Brown for achieving Regional Accepted Times.
