30/01/13…..Two new town councillors for Thame
THAME now has two new town councillors, following the co-option yesterday (29/01) of Adrian Dite and Linda Emery, by a ballot of Thame Town Councillors. The two new councillors will serve until the end of the current term, to May 2015.
Adrian Dite is semi-retired and has lived in the Thame area since 1980, and his children attended local schools. Previously he spent six years on Ickford Parish Council. He is particularly interested in supporting the High Street area and ?keeping the town alive.? He lists his strengths as events, sports and leisure management.
Linda Emery?s grandmother lived in Chinnor and she therefore knew Thame from childhood. Linda has lived in Thame since 2009 and has worked in business since 1991. She is a member of Thame Rotary Club where she is actively involved in fundraising and also a member of the Thame Twinning Committee.
