01/12/11…Rare Enid Blyton book raises funds for Oxfam
A rare first edition of Enid Blyton’s The Castle of Adventure, has been sold by the Oxfam Bookshop in Thame, after being found by volunteers at the bottom of a box of donated books.
The 1946 Children’s book was the second in Enid Blyton’s Adventure series and still had on it the original dust cover illustrated by Stuart Tresilian.
