Running Buddies Fun Run for all ages and abilities 31/01/10

RUNNING Buddies in Thame is organising its first ever fun-run on Sunday, January 31, 2010. The purpose of the run is to raise money for the children and families of the village of Burkino Faso in Africa.

Patsy Baker, co-founder of Running Buddies, will be flying out to Burkino in February to see where help is needed.

It will be a 5k fun run/walk for families of all ages and abilities, beginning at 9.30am from Leyland Daf, taking in the Phoenix Trail and onto Cuttlebrook and finish at the Guide Headquarters in Southern Road, Thame.

There will be refreshments of teas and coffee and a prize for best fancy dress costume at the end.
