Proud Thame Show winner

A PROUD winner at the recent Oxfordshire County and Thame Show, was Mrs Lesley Evans, of Willow Road, Thame, with her mare, Broughton Morwena, in the in-hand Welsh Section C&D, four years and over class.

Mrs Evans told ThameNews.Net: “I was very proud of her; she behaved impeccably and really moved! I have owned Wena since she was weaned as a six month old foal and she was bought from the Broughton Welsh Cob Stud in Broughton, Aylesbury ? so a truly local win!
“She has recently been broken to ride and we hope to do County level ridden classes next year, but at the moment I am concentrating on schooling her and quietly hacking her around the local countryside.”
