Ex Lord Williams’s student smashes swimming record

AT the Beijing olympics, a former student at Lord Williams’s school in Thame, swam in the British men’s 4x100m freestyle relay team final, during the early hours of this morning.
Simon Burnett from Tetsworth, broke the British record for the 100m freestyle with a time of 3:12.87 secs, but his relay team came in overall in only eighth place in a race won by the Americans.
