Thame house sellers warned to drop prices

ANYONE seriously thinking of putting their Thame home on the market has been warned that they will need to drop the selling price if they want to sell.
Malcolm stephens, Manager at connell’s Estate Agent in the High Street, said today: “The pendulum has definitely swung. Because of indiscriminate lending in the past few years, house prices have been forced up and what is happening now is a major market correction.
“Anyone who had their home valued in 2007, needs to seriously think about reducing that figure by 10% if they have any realistic hope of selling.”
