Text Winnor For Hobble On The Cobbles Announced
LONDON rock band, THE LAST GRAND, have been voted for by the public and have been crowned winners of the Aylesbury Showcase Mobile Text Competition.
Over the past six months local bands and music fans alike have been voting for their favourite bands/groups, for who they would like to see perform live at this event.
?The Last Grand? fought off strong competition from ?Domino Theory? and ?King Rat? respectively to win the overall competition, though the final results were extremely close.
The competition closed at midnight on Friday 29 June 2007.

Sunday, August 26, sees the return of the popular free live-music festival “Hobble on the Cobbles”, which last year witnessed John Otway’s welcome return to the main Market Square stage after 28 years.
Aylesbury Showcase are proud to announce original Marillion frontman/songwriter FISH will headline this year?s event, which will also feature a number of very talented and recognised local and national bands – all of whom shall perform across two stages throughout the day.
