Correction: Fatal collision in Thame

A young motor cyclist is reported to have lost his life in a road traffic collision in Thame.

The tragedy occurred in the early evening of yesterday, Monday, August 28, close to Thame Skate Park.

Members of the public were quickly on the scene and did all they could for the casualty, including CPR, before the emergency services, including the Air Ambulance, arrived very soon afterwards.

The name of the victim is being with held out of respect for the family involved.

  1. Yes; we have since corrected the post. There was some confusion about the car that stopped to help, from a tired and understandably emotional witness who came to the casualty’s assistance. We await the full details from the police before reporting any further details about the nature of the actual collision.

  2. This is incorrect, there was NO CAR INVOLVED. Luke lost control of his dads motorbike and hit a tree
