Plan to change Thame store from fabrics to food

A RESTAURANT chain has applied for planning permission to convert the front of Green’s Furnishings in Upper High Street, Thame, into a restaurant and Deil.

Wildwood Restaurants, which has branches all over the country and is part of the Tasty PLC group, is proposing splitting the existing retail unit occupied by Greens, into two halves, with a Pizza-Pasta-Grill business and Deli at the front, and the rear portion to remain occupied by Greens. Two separate entrances are proposed, the existing front entrance for the restaurant and the existing side entrance in the alley way to the left of Greens, for access to Greens’ unit at the rear.

  2. Is another eating not required in Thame The Town requires a General Store like Woolworths was Wilko or BM or perhaps a M & CO or Dorethy Perkins who are not as expensive as the clothes shops we have
    If Angel Properties get the Planning of the DAF SITE what Supermarket and other Retail unit will go there and will there be transport from the Town come on Thame Town Council oppose this application
