THAME Swimming Club were on fire on Saturday, April 23, when they visited Wycombe District Swimming Club’s Long Course Sprint Meet for the first time.

Under the guidance and encouragement of Head Coach, Ian Blyth, and coaches Simon Haarburger and Iain Phillips, the swimmers put in some tremendous swims gaining new Person Bests, breaking club records and winning medals along the way too. For one group of Thame swimmers this was their very first first long course meet – Amira Matton, George Pearson, Ben Mould, Murray Wakefield and Jasmine Grimes.

Not only did Thame come third out of all the 10 visiting clubs but Harry Block and Elizabeth Humphreys also won the Top Boy and Top Girl awards.
