WARNING for Day Carers & others in Thame

OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL have issued a warning today aimed at Day Carers and others looking after elderly and vulnerable people, after they were  informed of an incident yesterday evening (Tuesday, April 12) in Thame, where a couple of ‘scruffy looking’ young adults in there 20’s called on a client and informed him they were selling double glazing and doors, but had no information or leaflets. The police were informed and called round.

The warning, from Graham Ablett, OCC Quality and Contracts Officer,  reads: “Please can Providers be vigilant to any suspicious behaviour involving clients particularly in the Thame area, and report any concerns to the Police.”
