Van crashes into house in Thame

A van driver had to be cut from his vehicle earlier this afternoon, after the van collided with a house in Kingsey Road, Thame, near the Chinnor Rugby Club round-about.

Firecrews released the injured man, using hydraulic rescue equipment. It is not known at this time how seriously he was injured.

  1. It would appear that all of a sudden we seem to have a run of crashes near that kingsey road roundabout. I have to ask the question is this a result of the recent heavy lorry traffic that we now appear to have due to the site opposite the northern entrance to Cromwell Avenue causing during damp periods to cover the bypass road with mud
    . Having recently replaced my window screen due to a lorry not covering his load I now avoid this section of road if I can. Have any others suffered with damage to vehicles as a result in this increase of heavy goods vehicle movement
