Pedestrian hit by van

A pedestrian has been taken to the JR hospital in Oxford, with head injuries, after being hit by a van.

The collision happened near Weston Lane, close to the Shabbington turn, on the A418, at around 4.45pm this afternoon (12/10) and the road remains closed in both directions (as at 18:50 hrs) with long tail-backs of traffic.
