A planning application by Churchill Retirement Living, for a replacement building providing 45 apartments, has been submitted to South Oxfordshire District Council and will be discussed by Thame Town Council at tonight’s full council meeting.

As part of an agreement with Thames Valley Police, who have sold off several of their police stations recently in a money-saving exercise, a police counter service will be maintained at the Greyhound Lane site. Thame police moved from the Greyhound Lane site last year to a new operational base at Thame Business Park in Wenman Road. A counter service still remains at the old site.

At present the site is being advertised as ‘Business Space’ by Lambert Smith Hampton.
