THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Shabbington, near Thame.

Between 6.45am and 5pm on Wednesday (11/12), offenders forced open a kitchen window by snapping part of a panel at a property in Dukes Close, Shabbington.

It is believed that the offender was disturbed by a dog in the property and no items were stolen.

PC Samantha Stansbie, of Aylesbury Local CID, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who  may have been in the area of Dukes Close at the time of this incident and may have seen a man around mid morning riding a bike, wearing an anorak short jacket and carrying a clipboard.”

Anyone with information should please contact PC Stansbie via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.

No personal details are taken; information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
