global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221;]<p>You can use rhubarb for granola topping&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Chop into cubes, with a teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of water and a teaspoon of cornflour.\u00a0 <br \/>Heat until soft.\u00a0 <br \/>Once it has cooled put the rhubarb over your favourite cereal.\u00a0 <br \/>I like granola topped with yoghurt and then rhubarb.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221;]<p>Maybe Rhubarb Pie is more appealing to you&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Chop into cubes, with a teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of water and a teaspoon of cornflour.\u00a0 <br \/>Heat until soft.\u00a0<br \/>Then set aside in the fridge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To make the pastry the ratio of flour is double the ratio of fat.\u00a0 <br \/>So depending on the size you want your pie to be.\u00a0 <br \/>This is for a portion of 6.<br \/>&#8211; 250g plain flour<br \/>&#8211; 125g fat\/butter<br \/>&#8211; tsp of liquid, milk or water<\/p>\n<p>Sieve the flour into a bowl.\u00a0 <br \/>Cut the butter into cubes, and mix into the flour.\u00a0 <br \/>Using your fingertips create fine breadcrumbs by rubbing the fat and flour, or you can use a food processor. <br \/>To form a dough add in a little liquid, milk or water, a teaspoon at a time as we don\u2019t want to make it sticky. \u00a0<br \/>Form a round dough shape. \u00a0\u00a0<br \/>Wrap in cling film and place it into the fridge, for roughly 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Turn the oven on 180 degrees, <br \/>Roll out onto a floured surface, shape to fit your pastry or cake tin.\u00a0 <br \/>Fill up with ceramic baking beans, or if you don\u2019t have these, wash and dry some coins, but make sure you have a piece of foil in-between your bake and coins to prevent contamination. Dried rice is also a good option.<br \/>Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. <br \/>Leave to cool.\u00a0 <br \/>Fill the rhubarb mixture into the pastry and serve with ice cream or thick double cream.
