Easter is a great time to spend getting creative, with the sun shining, we are able to air out our rooms if you are creating indoors, meaning less smell of paint or glues and hopefully quicker drying times. There are also more natural flowers that can be used if you choose to press them or even use them within a bouquet or wreath.<\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>We\u2019ve put together 5 ideas to hopefully help with your creativity this Easter which can be adapted depending on age and ability. <\/span>

Pom Pom pals can be made pretty easily and inexpensively, you can buy a pack of pom poms or even make your own, using cardboard and some wool or even a pom pom maker. You can add some foam or card additions (beak and wings for chicks and ears and nose for bunnies, not forgetting some little feet!) You can decorate a hard boiled egg in so many ways. When I was in Primary school they often hosted a hard boiled egg decorating competition. There were so many ideas and some people had some amazing designs, from cartoon characters, historic people and the typical easter characters of bunnies and lambs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paper Mache Eggs<\/b><\/h2>\n

Paper Mache eggs can be so fun and messy to make, you can then cut it in half and fill it with goodies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All you need is a blown up balloon, cover it in newspaper that has been dipped in a PVA and water mix. Cover the balloon leaving the tied part slightly exposed. Once dry you can pull the tied part of the balloon and snip it, the balloon should then shrivel up and you can remove it. You can then cut the egg in half and cover the end hole up with more strips of PVA, watered newspaper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Easter bonnets are such a traditional thing to decorate, you can use any hat, but a hessian one works well, you can buy these cheaply from craft stores or supermarkets around Easter, along with accessories you can decorate them with, or use your pom pom pals you have already created. You can decorate your bonnet with any craft materials or even household products and toys. There are so many ways of creating a wreath, whether it be a simple wreath where you just collect leaves or punch out paper shapes and attach them in a circle, slightly layering one and another. Or if you choose to use a wire circle from a craft store or made from an old wired hanger and attach live greenery and flowers.<\/span><\/p>\n
