Christmas in Thame always has a special feel to it – the lights are always beautiful, people are full of Christmas cheer (nothing to do with the delicious mulled cider and wine you find in many of the pubs) and there\u2019s always lots going on. The past few years have been testing for the whole community so this year there will be an even more special Christmas vibe in the air.<\/span><\/p>\n

Friday 3rd December –<\/strong> <\/span>Christmas lights switch-on<\/b><\/h2>\n

From 5:30pm outside the Town Hall – m<\/span>usic from Thame Concert Band, Mulled wine and Santa turning on the Christmas lights at 6pm. <\/span><\/p>\n

This year the people of Thame are also bringing along gifts to be donated to people in need. There are three types of gifts you can bring to help out including toys, clothing and food. <\/span><\/p>\n

An event that grows in size and popularity each year will be back to raise money for Thames Valley Air Ambulance. The Agrisosocial Road Run AKA The Tractor Run is aiming to raise \u00a310,000 this year with a target run of 350 vehicles (making it the UK\u2019s largest Road Run). Entries close on 18th December. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
