24/06/12….Thame 10K 2012 – Fully booked !

THIS year’s Thame 10K Road Race will be taking place on Sunday, June 24, starting at 9.30am. A road closure will be in place between 9.30am and 10.30am.

THE ROUTE

Begins at Highfield Close, where runners will
be guided onto the main Oxford Road with a sharp right turn. Then over the first roundabout in the High Street where/when the temporary closure stops.

A lead bike will then lead runners through the Upper High Street of Thame to a left turn into Queens Road. The runners will then turn right into Towersey Road, over the pedestrian chicane at the end of Towersey Road.

From here they will cross the traffic-closed ring road and proceed on to Towersey. Here they will turn onto the traffic-free Phoenix Trail to head back
into Thame.
