18/01/13….SNOW advice – Driving, keeping warm & clearing paths and the law
THAMES valley police is urging motorist to only use their cars if absolutely necessary due to the severe weather conditions today. In view of heavy snow and sub-zero temperatures, Thames Valley Police is advising people to take steps to keep themselves safe.
Before setting out, drivers are being asked to check the road conditions and ask themselves whether their journey is absolutely necessary. If they feel they have to travel, they are asked to heed the following advice:
