13/04/11…..FREE film festival in Thame this weekend
A LOCAL pub and music venue in Thame, is holding a marathon film festival this weekend (Saturday 16th April ? Sunday 17th April) to celebrate some of the best films, old and new, and it?s free for everyone!
Whether you?re out shopping with the girls and want somewhere after to relax with a bowl of popcorn and a chilled glass of wine or you and your mates want to get together over a pint and remember a classic film of your youth, or you might even need somewhere to bring the kids so you can have a couple of hours peace ? there really is something for everyone!
Manager Kenny Davison says: ?We all love films here at the James Figg and we want to share our passion for great movies with everyone! There?s no admission fee and you can come and go as you please, it?s a totally chilled out event for anyone and everyone. We?ll have one small screen and one main screen showing different films throughout the day, we plan to run the films from midday to midnight on both Saturday and Sunday so there?s plenty to choose from.?
With popcorn on hand and the bar open for drinks and fantastic pub food, what better way to spend a weekend?
