13/09/10….Mast work could cause TV reception problems

WORK on a television transmitter at Beckley is set to cause some disruption to reception across Oxfordshire, including the Thame area.

The work is in preparation for the area’s digital switchover in 2011, and is expected to cause daytime disruption between today, Monday and Wednesday, September 15, 2010. It was made necessary by a fire that destroyed much of the newly installed mast in May.
