Chinnor RFC chose to host Natioal University & Colleges Sevens Tournement

CHINNOR RFC, based in Thame, have been chosen to host the British University and Colleges Sevens Tournament for 2010.

The two day event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 1 and 2, 2010, and promises to be a festival of fine rugby. Sunday will be the main focus of the event with around 26 teams (male and female) representing our best universities and colleges around the UK.

Kick off on both days will be at 10am and the event will be supported by food and refreshments and ample car parking.

Chinnor RFC spokesman, Steve Halson, said: “This event is a top level coup won by our outstanding facilities and support staff. Our own England Sevens and Sale Sharks player, David Seymour, will be making the presentations and we hope that all our members can come and support this prestigious event and help make it a great success.”
