How can Permaculture help Thame grow more food locally?
A LOCAL environment group, Transition Thame and District, is planning a Permaculture evening, including a film which explains how the system could be used to grow more food locally.
WHEN? 8pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2010
Upstairs at the Cross Keys, 1 Park St, Thame
(“Has any pub ever been improved by so much in such short a time?”) D.Roe Camra Newsletter editor)
Everyone is invited to go along and find out what permaculture is, how to apply it in their garden and how the principles can be used in many other areas of life.
The film shows how it’s application and how it has increased productivity at various sites in the UK. A discussion will follow about how it can be used to grow more food locally.
