Death Of Chinnor Railway Chairman – Statement

IT is with deep regret that the Board of The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway announce the death of its Chairman, Richard Floyd on 11th August 2006.
Richard was the Railway’s Civil Engineer and was a prime moving force in the rebuilding of the award winning station building that now graces the platform at Chinnor.

Appointed Chairman early in 2005, he tackled with vigour the Railway’s goal of once again running trains into Princes Risborough station from the Chinnor branch.
