Currently until 18.08.2010 - Summer Art Exhibition
- Thame Museum - exhibition by local artists. Tuesday,
Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Sunday 12 noon till
4pm. Admission free.
30.07.2010 Radio Oxfords breakfast show will
be broadcast LIVE from the town centre, ahead of the Oxfordshire
County and Thame Show. They will be asking local residents
for their views about the show. Radio Oxford is doing a series
of roadshow events across the region through the summer.
31.07.2010 - Thame Show - agricultural, cultural and
country activities, such as Festival Human Circus, Gamegoer
Country Display, Sheep Show. Plus:
Portsmouth VCC Gun Crew
Falconry Display
Vintage Tractor Display
Competitions for cattle sheel and horses
Show jumping with some of the UK's finest riders
Royal British Legion Band & Corps of Drums
Excellent food hall and "local flavours" regional
food producers
Craft shows and much, much more.

02.08.2010 - Thames new library in North Street,
with a host of innovative features, is set to open at 10.30am.
Children can delve into the world of illustrating during a
special event to mark the opening of the new library. Well-known
author and illustrator Shoo Rayner will be on hand at the
new library from 2pm to show youngsters how to draw many of
the characters he is famous for, including Ricky Rocket and
Viking Vik.
