THE Conservative party’s ‘Remain on the road’ bus hit Thame this afternoon, bringing a team of ‘Stay’ activists to set up their stall behind Thame Town Hall, chatting to local people about their intentions in the forthcoming referendum.

Joining them was District Councillor Jeannette Matelot Green, sporting a tee shirt with the party’s slogan ‘In Europe for Britain’. The team met a variety of views but generally the feeling reported among the team, was that the majority of people they talked to in Thame, were in favour of staying in the Eurpean Union.
